# Pages: Press Coverage

Guides press coverage and media mentions aggregation. It turns third-party articles, interviews, podcasts, videos, awards, and reviews into a page or section that visitors can inspect. Use **media-kit-page-generator** when the task is to prepare company information and brand assets for journalists. For the comparison and planning notes, see [reference.md](reference.md).

## Initial Assessment

Check existing project context when available, then collect the current coverage inventory. For every item, record:

1. Publication or channel name
2. Headline or episode title
3. Publication date
4. Public URL
5. Coverage type
6. A short summary or selected quote

Keep company press releases in a separate group from third-party coverage.

## Choose the Page Format

Use a compact homepage, About-page, or footer section when a small set of mentions can be shown clearly. Use a dedicated press coverage page when visitors need to browse several useful items or find a media contact. Choose the format from the amount and variety of coverage and the page's role in the visitor journey.

## Full Page Structure

| Element | Guideline |
|---------|-----------|
| **Page heading** | State that the page collects independent articles, interviews, podcasts, videos, awards, or reviews about the company or product |
| **Featured item** | Lead with the most useful current item when one clearly deserves emphasis |
| **Coverage list** | Show publication, headline, type, date when useful, short summary, and a link to the original item |
| **Grouping** | Arrange by date, topic, publication, or format according to how visitors will scan the list |
| **Separation** | Keep third-party coverage separate from company-authored press releases |
| **Contact** | Add the current media inquiry route and link to the media kit when available |
| **Dates** | Show dates when recency helps visitors judge the item; evergreen content can omit them |

## Compact Section Structure

| Element | Guideline |
|---------|-----------|
| **Items** | Select a small group of useful mentions that represents the company accurately |
| **Logo or text label** | Use a consistent logo strip or publication-name treatment |
| **Quote** | Include one short, compelling quote when it helps explain the coverage |
| **Placement** | Place the section after the main product promise or near related proof, without interrupting the primary CTA |
| **Link** | Add a clear route to the complete coverage page when one exists |
